Stock Tstat is 190 take cap off and start it up and let it get hit watch the coolant level if it goes down fill it. Otherwise I don't think you have a problem
I also have a Circle-D 3,000 rpm torque converter in my supercharged GS.
Your trans fluid temp is too high.
I installed a B&M cooler that is plumbed with AN fittings and braided hoses ... The trans fluid don't even go through the radiator anymore ... just through the trans cooler.
Fluid has never gone above 200 degrees, even in this Florida heat ... In fact, on the highway cruising at 85 mph, it gets no hotter than 165. Driving around town in stop and go traffic, it stays just below 175-180.
Get a good trans cooler and plumb the transmission hydraulic lines through the trans cooler (completely bypassing the car's radiator)
