Default Battery relocation positive power cable routing question

I am relocating the battery to a rear storage compartment to make room for a fuel cell for meth.

From what I can discern, the positive power cable on a Z06 goes from the battery to the starter. It would be simpler if I could route the cable from the new battery location back to the old battery location and connect to the positive power connection for the system at that point.

Does anyone know of any issues with wiring it this way? Either system\electrical or routing concerns?

Where is a good place to connect the negative that was connected to the battery?

I would also add a breaker both as a safety item and a convenient source of attachment points.

This is a base 2010.

Thanks!

On the positive wire, Three wire splice out just before the starter, and land the three wires to the starter, to the alternator, and to the engine fuse block.

On the ground wire, again three wire out just before the start, and land on the starter mounting bolt, the engine block above the starter, and chassis up around the fuse block.

Hence the downfall of the stock system of battery in back, is that you are using the starter solenoid terminal as your splice point between the battery and the alternator (nut can come loose, or solenoid terminal cracks off), and long chassis grounded run from the battery to the starter with the battery grounded to the chassis alone (that has to make it way to the starter body).
