Default 07 corvette too hot

I have a fully built ls2 6 spd (cam, fast 102, headers, exhaust, cnc 243 heads, cold air, lifters...etc) I just had a new thermostat (160) and radiator flushes out. I even added purple ice and used the proper dexcool and yes it has been burped. If I drive the car normal, it doesn't get too hot. If I wanna drive it kind of hard, it gets too warm in my opinion. Like 240°. I just ordered the dewitts radiator and dual fans. I hope this helps. Any suggestions? I'll let you know if it helps.

i wonder if it is something in the tune like too much timing or a lean condition making it hot. See what Dewitts set up does first.

I just watched a few videos about timing. You are exactly correct. It could be that. I've tried numerous things and spent the money to fix it. I think it is in the tune. I appreciate it. Since I've already ordered the dewitts fans and radiator I'm going to get that put in as well as get the tune adjusted thanks bro.

Something is definitely wrong. I ran a similar set-up and tracked my car a never saw 240° radiator fluid temps.

The Dewitts should fix that problem. Start watching engine oil temps too, might need an EOC

I have very similar setup on my 2005, except I used LS3 heads/intake.

My car started getting hot, in 240 range also.

Using HP Tuner I checked my fan settings, which were set at stock. I now have more aggressive fan settings. See below:

OEM settings:

Revised Settings:

Other fan settings:

Now my car runs between 198 and 205. It never gets above 210!
I'm running OEM radiator and fan.

I'd be real interested in how you wired the new dual fans when you're done with the installation......please advise.
