2006 auto C6 euro model Key on engine off issue
I'm trying to program a new key fob with my Tech2.
I just can't get the car to go into key on engine off.
it will go into stop (red) and accessory (amber) but when i try to get the dash fully lit it only gives the option to press brake and start so not a KOEO mode.
it's a Euro model.
any help please?

Also, put a 10amp battery charger on the car battery to keep it charged, since your going to have the 10min count down before the RCDLR will allow you to program the fobs in with the car in run, motor off mode (watch the DIC for the count down). Hence in the 10 min wait/count down, all the modules alive/out of sleep mode, is going to drain the battery down in less time if you don't have at least a 10 amp charger on the battery.
Keep in mind that there is 4 different fobs for the C6. Two are for usa models with a year cut off running on 315mhz, and the other two are for the export cars running on 416mhz with year cut off as well.
The lovely one, is when you get a USA car shipped out of the states, and have to figure out if the car is using the usa fob, or the Export fob.
Hence if TPMS trigger on 416mhz, then you now that the RCDRL is set up for export, and need a export fob. If tpms triggers on 315hrz, then RCDLR is set up for USA model, and you need the USA fob isntead.
The other way, just go into special programming for the BCM, and see what country the BCM is set up to run. Short of AE that can get funky, if the car is set up for any where in UK, it running/RCDLR is set up for 416mhz export fobs.
