Default LS3 ID1050X Injectors

I have a friend who is selling some LS2 ID1050X injectors @ a good price.
Part No. 1050.48.14.15.8
But I need part Number 1050.34.14.15.8 ( I have a 2009 LS3 however he says the only difference is the extenders on top and they are removable. What say you LS Gurus on here?

Second question, I upgraded to E85 and plan to purchase an ECS Centrifugal kit in the future, is it worth it to get there injectors or just find some 80Lb cheaper? I can buy his used ( 1K miles ) for what a new set of 80lb Delphis go for.
thank you!

It's much easier to tune using ID's.. I would get them if the price is right. I sold the 60 lb deka's that came with my kit and got ID1000's

You can get the ECS kit without injectors to help offset the price some.

Yes you can remove the extensions. They're spacers on the top of the injector and you just pull the clips and proceed to remove the spacer. I did the same with my setup when I swapped over to a sheet metal intake manifold from g1pro, which uses fuel rails that utilize the shorter length injectors from the ls3/9
