Both intercoolers leaking :(

Anyone know where I can get replacement intercoolers for magunson LS3 C6 HEARTBEAT TVS2300 that hold up?

Why throw out the baby with the bath water, when any fab shop can just re-tig the inter coolers to solve the leak problems.

Hell, phone call to Magi, and they might just have you send them the intercoolers to re-tig weld then on their own dime.

P.S, how did you end up blowing the intercoolers to cause them to leak? Was it not enough dexcool in the system and the water froze, since the intercooler water tank cap should have blown off the excess pressure in the water system before it damaged the cores.

Both have pin holes in them. Magnuson said it was caused by vibration a known issue so they told me but outta warranty. Can’t find a fab shop that will touch em

How many miles on your blower? I didn't run my Heartbeat much over 30K miles and no problems. I did have a Magnuson TVS 2300 (not the Heartbeat) that went over 250K miles before needing a bearing replaced. I think all I did to that blower was change the oil once or maybe twice.

I'd try calling DMS and see if they can fix them. They weld up factory CTS-V intercoolers all the time so I'm sure they have a process that works for welding on them.

Not sure the mileage on the SC it was on it when I got it. Car has 36k on it and 6k are mine. Build Date on the SC is 9/2016
just gonna order 2 new ones from Magnuson. Don’t want to take any chances
