I have been talking with vendors from the forum about getting different wheels on my base with C6Z brakes. I have been told that the setup fits flush.
Front:
<!--td {border: 1px solid #ccc;}br {mso-data-placement:same-cell;}--> 18 X 9.5 +53
19 X 9.5 +50
Rear:
18 X 10.5 +65 20 X 11 +73
My question is can I use this same concept (width and offset) to source other wheel styles as long as I maintain the same width and offsets?

ugh im in the same boat bro its very difficult to get a straight answer the vendors seem to really cater to the widebody cars( Z06, Grand Sport, ZR1) people probably shooting for the deeper pockets lol anyway TSW makes wheels that fit base models with big brakes
You need about 9mm off set work of spacing for the z06 caliper faces to miss the inside of a base rim.
Note, this will keep the out side of the tires still in the fender void areas as well, so you not distroying fender panels.
Down and dirty way, install 9mm spacers, then change out your lug nuts to long reach nuts, so you can get at least 4 winds on the bolt to threads before it starts to tighten down.
The other way is to pull the wheel hubs off the car to change the studs, but it's more of a PITA,
or just change out rims to ones that have more clearance from the inside spoke surface to calibers instead.
As for why the z06 rims work with the Z06 calibers on the Z06, it a wide body car that the rims have more off set outwards, that give the needed clearance instead.
