M6 hard launch, is all about clutch slippage on lauch. The LS9 clutch is easy to slip so you don't break traction as you are easing into the power, while some after market clutches, are a PITA to slip or don't want to slip at all instead.
Hence TM adjusted to keep the tires sticking past the launch is easy in the first few gears, but it getting out of the hole hard (without breaking tracktion) in a M6 car that will take some time to learn. Hence set TM up too high trying to control the launch with it, and you will pay the price with it hobbling the motor too much on the back end of the track instead.

I also lowered the car quite a bit on aftermarket bolts and did my own alignment. I been playing with tire pressure and can’t hook at all played with rpm launch. I have owned a few fast manual car and never had this bad of an traction issue. Last week on the street snapped an axle replaced with 2 C5z axles. Any recommendations how to set it up probably to get that weight transfer? Aftermarket shock? Open to any options, pic on how it currently sits. Did lowering it hurt it?
If you're interested I have a pair of used 315/35/17 Hoosier drag radials you can try out for free. They have a lot of life left but started to not hook for my car since it leaves so hard.
Let me know and I can bring them with me this Wednesday.

Heal/toe on the launch with a M6, to hold you in place as you are starting to lightly engage the clutch just before the light , or just install brake locks to hold you place so you can keep your right foot all the way on the gas pedal as you start to lightly load/ slip the clutch before the light to keep a fast reaction time.

Got to test out the hoosier yesterday and on the first pass the car cut a 1.4 60ft and got kicked out for no cage
Nice!!! where are you??? I ran 10's all day with no cage.
I'm sure he got booted for exceeding 135 MPH. The current limits are 10.000 and 135.00. per NHRA. Assuming he didn't let off until near the finish, he also violated the 1/8 mi time (6.40) by an even bigger margin.

I know, i trapped 140. Odd right? I guess end of season and not an official race day, just test n tune. He def hooked tho, I went 7.2 @ 107 in the 1/8th... bogged on 19's though, so makes sense.
OP did you pull that front sway for more squat?

Eventually, with practice, (I have 502 passes on my OEM clutch) I learned to floor the car as the tree was coming down and walk out the clutch to get very consistent 1.4's with only 475 rwhp.
Here's a video from inside the car, you can hear and see (on the tach) how I floor it then walk out the clutch.
The most important thing is practice. You cannot dump the stock clutch or you'll spin. You also can't release it too slow or it will hang up and never hook up. There is a happy medium. I have my car lowered on stock springs and never unhook my sway bar, FYI. I also remove the clutch pedal spring, and I've been relentless in changing the clutch fluid via swapping out the master with a turkey baster before and after every track event. 4.10 gears and my tall 2.97 first really help a lot as well. You can get 4.10 gears now for a Z rear end and I highly recommend them. One thing that really helped me was scanning my runs on HP Tuners and analyzing my launch RPM and shift times. I have threads in here with screen shots. Here's one...post 70.

Good to see you again. Still in MO or did you go back to FL?
Added a C7 to the garage, but now hang out on both forums to help the young guys. Stop in more often and drop off some of your wisdom for the new group.

Happy Holidays.
Hey Tom! Happy new year. Still in MO where it’s currently showing.🥵
I’ll have to go check out your c7 posts....I still have my trusty c6. I do miss the forum, we had some great chats didn’t we! Seems Facebook killed it but you can’t find anything on Facebook. Good for sharing what you had for lunch. Bad for sharing tech advice or finding tech help!
