Speedometer occasionally reads zero

Sometimes, happened three times today, when I pull away from a stop like from a traffic light, the speedometer remains at zero. If I back off the throttle it catches up.

This is a problem because the trans doesn't shift out of first.

2010 base with 4L65E transplant and PCS TCM-2000 trans controller.

Any ideas?
