maybe someone has ran into this issue. I am finally doing my BTR cam swap and noticed the from leaf spring is right against the oil pan. Is this correct ? It just doesn’t feel to me there is no minimal gap between the oil pan and leaf spring. Has anyone seen this situation ? Is it time to replace the leaf spring ? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
Why are you worried about the spring and the oil pan? Neither need to be moved to do a cam swap. And if you didn't know that already why are you attempting to do the cam? If your having someone else doing the work and that's what they said, RUN!

lmao ! I know neither are related lol So I’m doing the cam and when I was underneath removing the rack and pinion I noticed the leaf spring Is sitting very close the oil pan and just wondering if that’s normal how close the leaf spring sits to the oil pan? Or if the leaf spring needs to be replaced .....
that's the way it's supposed to be, if they put a foot between it it would be a pick up truck. if the spring were broken you would see and feel it when you drove it.
