2005 C6 Z51, 50000 miles , EMERGENCY BRAKE , is there any way to adjust it ? besides pulling wheels and brakes off.
I really doubt they are worn out , never really used ,,,what about cable stretch . brackets bending at connecting points ,
can they be adjusted by backing up and pulling the handle up slowly
wish they had access holes to adjust

I THINK! The emergency/parking brake is self-adjusting. Over the years as I've worked on my, 05 Z51 54000miles, I haven't seen any manual adjustment available. In the past just using the brake lever two or three times seems to tighten it up.
They are not self adjusting and you have to pull the rotors off to get to the E brake shoe adjuster.
If you do a quick search, must of written up on how to adjust them more than a few times, including taking the rotor down to have any found edge of drum ridges removed before you start adjusting.
Backing up and raising the Ebrake handle will adjust (a little) slack out of the cables only. As mentioned above, the shoes are not self adjusting. They are adjusted by a screw gizmo just like old time drum brakes, which they are actually.
