Default 07 z06 cam position sensor wire

so there's only one pig tail close enough to be the connector but it doesn't match up in the manual...

manual shows this which matches the new sensor I got

ac Delco oem

of course I didn't save the original... and the wires colors don't really match up to the picture I took before tear down...

photo on left is before...

thoughts?

I've also got a spare 07 harness that doesn't have the plug... same color wires....

thanks in advance

Hello,
I'm running into this identical problem however I don't have this pigtail? Can I buy somewhere locally, or is there a different sensor I should be using?

I know this is an old thread but, does anyone know if it's ok to have continuity to ground when probing the middle wire of this connector and engine block ground?

Thanks

Well if yours is a stock CMP sensor the center wire (Pin B) is a low reference or a computer ground…this wire goes to the ECM so yes you’d have continuity on it…a better check is to back probe this pink/black wire and connect your red lead of your DVOM to it and black lead to battery ground with engine running…sensor grounds like this should have less than .1 volt or 100mv’s !!…resistance checking of grounds is not really the correct way.
