I posted over in General Discussion and didn't get a single hit. I'll try again over here:
Anybody know the difference between a GM Clutch Master Cylinders GM 19331708 and GM 19331709. The "09" version (from Chevy Performance) seems to just cost more. I want to replace the master cylinder in my 2005 Z51 MN6.
I do not know the exact part numbers but the clutch master cylinder design was changed to prevent the dropped clutch pedal failure. This did happen on my 2009 Z06 while on the track.
The distinguishing feature of the new design is that it has the black clutch fluid reservoir vs the white reservoir.
