Dashboard electrical problem
My 2008 C6 Corvette started having an electrical problem. Several gauges (Fuel, Oil Pressure, Temperature) are not working, several warning lights (Low Tire pressure, Air bag, Security, Brake) are constantly on, the Information Center is scrolling thru error messages (Service Vehicle Soon, Service Fuel System, Low Fuel, etc). The electric doors switch, turn signals and radio system are also not working. Any ideas what could cause this?

Thx. That's what I was hoping. The car had been sitting for several weeks and the battery died. I recharged it and the car started acting funny. I took the recharged battery to Autozone (where I bought the battery a couple of years ago) and asked them to check it. The clerk checked it with his portable battery checking device and said there is nothing wrong with this battery, it has enough cranking power. I think you're right. I'll have someone else test the battery.

Had that problem twice when the alternator died. Charging the battery can possibly get you home, but that's about all. Everything dies as you get below 9 volts.
