Engine RPM Signal 2009 Base LS3
Where the heck can I tap in for the shift light function on my innovate psi-1. I have searched for a while and have come across different answers but wire colors are different on my car. I have the bottom of the steering column apart already. So I’m hoping there is a wire I can tap into down there (maybe on the obd2 port?) I’ve read the green wire on the coil harness on the pass side valve cover also would work. This is a base with out hud. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

The tach signal can be had from the ecm. Tap into the white wire, blue connector.
As for inside the car, the dash custer/ IPC is all digital, and is getting it digital signal off the Serial 2 data wire to the IPC.
