Belt Noise Help
I have a 2006 Coupe with an Automatic Transmission. I have been chasing a belt squeal for several months. I have replaced the Idler and Tensioner. The squeal went away for about 3 weeks of daily driving. After that I picked up a chirp, which turned out to be the Water Pump. I replaced the Water Pump, but the belt was squealing horribly. I have now replaced the belt with a Continental Belt from Autozone, the squeal is better, but still there.
Any suggestions.... I am thinking it has to be on the main belt drive system as it does not make the noise while the serpentine belt is off.

If you’re certain the tensioner and idler are aligned properly, check your balancer to see if it’s not coming apart and causing a misalignment. The OEM balancers are renowned for this.
