I'm putting in a racetronix drop in fuel pump assembly. My question pertains to the passenger return line that empties into the fuel basket. How important is it that the line is pointed directly into the basket? I can't get it to align directly with the basket hole on top. It looks like it's sightly canted to the side and will return fuel to the side of the tank.
here's a pic of the old one with the approximate position of the new one I'm installing
Is that hard tube or soft tube?? If its hard and u want it to mimic the original tube i would try to heat it with a hair dryer to make it more apilable to bend if thats what im understanding here.. That might interfering with installing it.
yeah i got the racetronix drop in module and it was a bit of a pain to get all the lines back in the tank properly... but its doable, and works great.... glad to hear you got it straightened out!
if you can't get the crossover tube back in after about 5 minutes, you may find it easier to purchase a brand new XO tube.... i did that and my reinstall was a snap...
