Default Vette Lights

Can anyone give me some feedback on "Vette Lights"? I'm a little leary about adding LED's into the electrical system. They claim they are plug and play and come with the required ballasting, just wondering if anyone has tried them and had either "no issues" or if it was a complete disaster and caused other issues with the system. I am looking at the Tail, Side Marker, and Fog Lights. Thanks

I’ve bought all my Morimoto lights from VetteLights, Cole is a great guy to deal with, headlights, taillights, side markers, and fog lights all from him with no issues going on a couple years. You will not be disappointed. It’s one of the best upgrades in my opinion.

I have had Vettelights LED sidemarkers and Morimoto tails installed for about 9 months with no problems whatsoever. Cole is a great guy who stands behind his products.

I'd love to help get your build closer to completion - let me know how I can help!
I actually have all three mentioned upgrades on my personal car with no issues also. As soon as we are able to find any patterns on any products, we get to work on getting them resolved ASAP but that is not common at all.

I have had Vette Lights side markers for over a year now without any problems what so ever. They are great! Good company too!

The only issue I have encountered was simply bluetooth call quality via Android Auto being abysmal compared to before installing. That said, I wouldn't change much as due to how loud it is anyway it is difficult to take a call in as it was before.

I have the laser sidemarkers, eagle eye tails, fog lights & full led interior lights for almost a year now. Absolutely Zero issues with installs being a breeze as well. Saving for headlights next

Cool, thanks for all the responses! I will NOT be looking at the Morimoto's mainly because they're twice as much as the other lines VL's carries. Again thanks for all your input. Peace

I have had Vette lights Brightest Fogs in my car for a couple years and they are amazing! Highly recommend them! Even though my lens are badly pitted & scratched they are way brighter than my low beams.

From Vette Lights -

Headlights - Morimoto C7 Style LED

Fogs - Morimoto - LED

Side Markers - Oracle LED

Rear - Morimoto LED

If you have a 2005 I heard they can be temperamental but Cole will help you with anything you need. 2006-2013 all should be good and there is nothing that will come up that hasn't been handled before should you have an issue (but it's pretty doubtful)

Thanks,Matt

No incandescent bulbs on my car at all. I've been using LEDs for Hi & Low headlights, fog lights, DRL/turnsignals, side markers, taillights, backup lights, license plate light, and interior lights for several years now with no bad side effects.

As with any mod, the key to success is using quality parts, installed properly with any necessary supporting hardware.

Stick with a good vendor like Vette Lights and you'll be fine.

Oh dang - wjnjr just reminded me that I no longer have incandescent bulbs in my Vette either

I forgot to add that I too have:

Reverse - Vette Lights LED (highest powered ones)

License Plate - Vette Lights LED (highest powered)

C6 Interior LED Kit - from Vette lights

Thanks,Matt

My headlights did not come from Vette Lights. I installed hi & lo beam LED projectors in the factory headlight housings when I replaced the lenses. The kit came from Sharp Light Innovations.

Actually, I've never bought anything from Vette Lights, but I understand Cole has a good reputation and many happy customers.
