That's a big question. What year, model, trans, and what are your goals with the car.
Yes is the short answer. Now what type and how many $$$ do you want to spend to make power.
There is a whole section just for superchargers, etc.

it's a 2006 base model automatic transmission eventually im going to put a stage 1 cam kit kook headers and xpipe I already have borla aggressive atak mufflers. Should I do the cam before the supercharger?
I have about $9,000
I just use it in the spring and summer daily driver don't race it or drag it

That's an easy question ... If you install a supercharger, your harmonic balancer needs to be pinned.
Well, pinning the harmonic balancer is a big job ... and replacing the cam requires removing of the balancer, so to save a bunch of money on labor charges, you should change the cam at the same time you have the balancer pinned.
BTW .... Since both a cam change and a supercharger require a dyno tune ... if you plan on doing both, I would do both at the same time so you don't need to pay for a dyno tune twice.
And once you crawl in the hole, C5-R timing chain, oil pump, new balancer, since you have the rack out, delrin bushing, if your not careful with the rack out, there is the steering wheel position sensor, why put the stock radiator back in.....$$$$$$$$$$$$
ok ill add to this more specifically .... go with the ECS supercharger kit and a stage 1 supercharged cam spec and find the best shop to where you live and let them do the work your 9k budget should be close to having it all done just depending

I completed a Magnuson Heartbeat SC install on a 08 LS3 Manual 70k miles . Started with a budget of 10k true spend 18k. 600rwhp Adding a smaller pulley and larger injectors in the spring - As folks here have said, if you are swapping cams a HB is a smart idea. Timing chain next, rods lifters and I needed pistons ( LS3 stock pistons were not smart ). Replaced the clutch disk and flywheel since it was up on a lift. Labor was at a discount since I helped with the work. Dyno tune and HPTune lic another 900. Forced induction will add up quick. So how much RWHP are you looking for and will you track? Look at Cam / Heads / Bolt ons / suspension upgrades. LS2 are really good motors. Just my two cents. And I will say the folks on this site are really cool and helpful. This my go too when I need answer.

no I won't track it just a daily driver for spring and summer look to get 500 to 600hp I've got a price for the whole cam kit air intake headers and xpipe installed $5,900 not including a@a supercharger kit
I would say that just a stage 1 cam and bolt ons will probably see you to 500 to the crank possibly not the rear wheels. I would like to see others opinions. Heads and biggger cam may but be prepared for a rougher cam at idle and traffic - daily driver will change a lot.
Do the bolt ons and a tune and see how you like it. The LS engines really wake up with a good tune headers and a Cold Air. Again Horsepower costs$$$ - I track and street my C6 long trips are longer an option - no gas mileage / smooth ride no more / traffic will make my shifting leg hurt alot.
@jorgez28 - Correct you can add a Mag SC easily and not hurt the engine - its not cheap and while your in there many items are recommended to be upgraded.
Can I put a supercharger in my c6 with no changes to my engine
Yes, you won't need to make any internal changes to the engine.
And if you decide to do a cam at the same time, I recommend a cam tailored for the specific type of supercharger. While most cams will work fine with a supercharger, there are cams that are specifically made for either centrifugal or positive displacement superchargers to maximize the benefits.

CAI is a pure waste of money unless it’s a cosmetic thing.
