Default What else should I have done

March 15 my 32000 mile, 15 year old base C6 is going to Speed Inc for a mild cam, valve springs trunion upgrade, etc. Heads will not be removed. The car has a supercharger and we expect about 600whp at the most.
Since its that far disassembled what else should it get or upgrade?
A new, better oil pump, pick up tube, timing set?
Speed Inc. doesnt try to sell unnessary stuff and says I probably wont need any of those things. I dont want to have to get into again, ever.

Thanks much
- Edit to say it will get a Powerbond balancer.

Has the balancer already been replaced? If not, it would be the perfect time to do so.

Hardened chrome moly push rods. Pin the new balancer. When you take the old cam out pay close attention to the lobe condition. If there is any indication of unusual wear plan on pulling the heads and installing LS7 performance lifters and new OEM lifter trays. Only order lifter trays through a GM Dealer. There are Chinese knockoff lifter trays out there with the same numbers but not the same quality product as the OEM GM ones. You don’t want to do this twice. Comp Cams Trunion upgrade kit will do just fine..

I got mine from Summit. Do you think they are GM or Chinesium?

Yes OP do a ATI balancer, pushrods. Depending on year you may need a cam gear as later one use 1 bolt but all the aftermarket cams are 3 bolt. I went ahead and put a Melling m295 oil pump on (ported and shimmed the spring). I didn't go high volume or high pressure just the stock replacement. May as well put a new timing chain on as they are cheap insurance. Many talk about the C6R timing high strength timing chain. I also did AMT Vulcan motor mounts and new coolant hoses all around and a Mishimoto radiator.

If the heads were coming off I say do LS7 lifter and trays. Actually if budget allows now would be a good time for a set of heads, if that is ever in you plan.

I can’t answer that for sure. I purchased mine through my local GM dealer so I know what I have.

Get a good lower balancer, and a Melling oil pump or at least a LS3 ported oil pump. New timing chain and tensioner would be good.
