Squeaky Sunroof
I have a 2007 Vett and my sunroof is squeaky and is actually starting to spider. The passenger side lock down is really tight and hard to open and close. Could this be the problem? I have had this vehicle for a little over a year and it started last fall just before I put it away for the winter. I got it out this past weekend and it is worse than ever. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Well, use gummi pflege (brand name) or di electric grease and lube the weather-strips.
But, the spider-ing comment is worrisome.
You may wish to recheck and readjust all the tension points on the targa (sunroof) panel.
So yes, I would say the tightness of the passenger side is a problem.

I'll also add that there is a possibility the weather-stripes have "aged" out - hardened or de-formed from the improper tension.
Be prepared to replace the w/s on the top and all the body to create a like new sealing & repair.
Lastly, if you search there are many threads about squeaking targa panels that can offer you great insights.

Squeaky Targa Top
Hi Everyone,
I watched a you tube video on the squeaky Targa tops. We followed their directions completely and WOW, absolutely no squeak, moan, shudder - nothing. It worked like a charm. Something you might want to know is that they suggest using a seal conditioner by GM. It has been discontinued and my Chevy Dealer had only one bottle left. It is expensive if you can find it. $86.00. We used just a little of it. It is suggested that you do this once a year. I am thrilled with how it turned out. I can tell you this was an answer to my prayers. Thanks to all who replied.
