Default Base Wheels with C6Z Brakes

Curious if anyone body knows how to fit base model wheel over C6Z brakes without poking out of the fender.

Is a spacer needed?

I found the below image of a C6 base with C7 Z51 wheels. It looks like they are running C6Z brakes.

Any help would be great thanks.

I have base model size Z06 replica wheels with Wilwood brakes(which are about the same size as Z06 brakes). The rear fits with no issues at all. In the front I had to use a 5mm spacer. It doesn't poke out too far.

Sure do!

C6 Z06 replicas - in C6 base size.
Fronts: 18x8.5 +56mm
Rears: 19x10 +79

The 5mm spacer on mine allows for the wheel spokes to just barely clear the caliper. Its really not enough to be noticeable. Depending on which rim/spoke design you are using, you may have to play around with different spacer sizes. Got mine from Amazon.

I have 15mm spacers on mine front and rear with Z06 brakes. 15mm is just about flush with the fenders.
