Default Stock exhaust diameter Borlas

I got an opportunity to get a couple of Borla S types cheaps, but they just the mufflers. Im new to the C6. I have a 6.2L.

What is the stock pipe dia? And do these look like they would work from an inlet and outlet location perspective? Thanks for the info.

Stock diameter is 2.5”. Here’s link to CCA (forum vendor) for 09 - 13 that includes pics, 08 for 6.2L is slightly different...

https://www.corvettepartsandaccessor...stem-2009-2013

Hope this helps.

Edit to clarify:
Link is for S Type II’s, The original S Type design is further removed from pic posted. Google C6 Borla S Type and you’ll see.

I have Bola S Type II on my car and they look nothing like that. My suggestion would be to go to the Borla website and see what fits your car.

To make regular Borla non corvette specific mufflers work you need mufflers with offset inlet/outlet pipes. Those in your picture will not work. Stock pipes are 2.5".

While not an S-type, but an ATAK, the pic below shows what I mean about the offset. A Borla muffler like this can and will work.
