Manual tranny getting stuck in reverse
but a few days ago it has been hard to get the car to return to nuetral after shifting into reverse. i will pull the gear from reverse and it is not only tougher to get out of gear but i then have to hit the stick to come back to the left side to enter into neutral so that i grab first.
i also got a grind noise yesterday when shifting to reverse from a complete dead stop.
any ideas what this could be?
it seems as though the shifts are actually getting a bit notchier as well.
i can't see this being a trans issue but maybe it is i have no idea just got the vette a couple months ago.
any help is extremely appreciated
Shifter bushings are worn; causing the shifter base to be loose, and improperly aligned with the transmission.
Or
Could be that the clutch is not fully disengaging;
this will result in difficulty in changing gears.
How is the fluid level in the clutch master cylinder?
I also believe there is a TB or a recall on the clutch cylinders failing.
This is a complete long shot but change trans fluid.
