I rebuilt the front end of a 2007 C6, new high pressure power steering pump hose (a HUGE PITA) along with replacing the headlight lenses (another pain) but it's together and running well. Prior to the work I've done I did not have a left low beam light, the rest were working properly. Now I have parking lights, but no high or low beam on either side. I checked the fuses which are all fine. I didn't do anything with the wiring except unplug, replace the lenses (removed the light bulbs for the oven portion), and then replaced the light bulbs and plugged back in. I have no power to the high or low beams (did a pin test for DC and nothing). Frustrating to say the least. I do hear the circuit "click" in the fuse box when turning on the parking lights (again which work) and when attempting to turn on the head lights. I don't know where to go from here, and would appreciate ANY help I can get.. Thanks very much......KK
It could be the multi function stalk, that could be the issue, since this is the common thread to both high and low beams. With all the stuff you removed, did all the grounding points get replaced. That could be a common issue as well. If you need a section of the car grounding locations, pm me your e-mail and I can send to you. It is too large to upload. I tried and it would not work.
I've attached a section of the 2007 service manual dealing with the exterior lights, which has troubleshooting guides and testing procedures which may help. It's 267 pages, and describes how the circuits work, etc.
Good Luck
Did the car have the recall done on it? 05-07 had an issue with the ground under the pass side fuse box, goggle it you will see pics of the GM fix and you can check.
