Default Borla exhaust causing higher engine temperature?

I just installed the Cat back S-Type this morning on my base 09'. First thing I noticed is an increase in the engine temperature. It used to sit at around 200 all the time and now at cruise it goes down to 200 but sitting in traffic it goes up to 220 (center of gauge). Is this normal?
Or is there some sort of period where the computer has to relearn any differences in the new exhaust?
Thanks,
LRod

No, unless the exhaust is plugged up somehow it won't affect the engine temperature.

I got it brand new direct from Borla so nothing should be plugged. And the installers (A professional performance shop) verified & QC'd everything. Other than that it runs perfect & sounds great. I just find it weird unless it's coincidence. One thing though, it was 95 degrees outside today so maybe that's got something to do with it.

Yeah, I'm sure it's probably just from being so warm today.
