recently had the car sit about a month and a half while I was installing my turbo kit, tried too start it and won’t crank or start. . Dash would go as if it was starting but the starter isn’t engaged or cranking the motor. I’ve replaced the starter and battery and still on going . Also took it too the shop too disabled VATS and still doing it … I’m pretty sure it has too do something with the signals. Does anyone have any clue what it could be ? I’m getting 12v too the starter and the battery is holding that 12v . All my grounds are also secured . Also tested the ignition switch on the starter … it’s getting the signal as well. I’ve looked on forums and still really haven’t found anything .
Pop open the fuse box under the hood. There are two relays related to starting: ignition and crank relays (44 and 43 on my '11). You can swap either of those with the rear defog relay (40) to see if it's a bad relay. I'm currently trying to diagnose the same issue. Swapping the rear defog relay with the ignition relay (44) didn't do anything, but when I swapped the rear defog relay with the crank relay (43), it started right up. I'm still not exactly sure what the issue is because my rear defog still worked after swapping relays, but it got me through another day. Car started up fine the next day after that, but time will tell and I'll try to remember to update this thread if I find my problem/solution.

swapped and tested and still nothing, it’s pretty frustrating it’s getting proper voltages and getting the ignition signal .. but I can’t really figure out what’s stopping the starter from engaging
I keep having the no start/no crank issue. Sometimes it will fire right up after cycling the ignition button a few times. Other times that doesn't work and I have to pull the relay, push it back in place, and then it will fire up after turning over longer than normal.
Got under the car and the starter looks brand new, which the previous owner said he replaced last summer, so I believe him. Going to pull codes too to see if there's anything in the log history for CELs. Could also be either the crank or cam position sensor.

Have you had any luck fixing it yet?
I have yet too find a solution, I was thinking about the crank or cam position sensor as well but yet too replace. My tuner tried pulling codes but nothing shows up. More than likely might have too look into the wiring too the ECM and etc .
I haven't been able to pull the fuse box apart but the car left me to stranded tonight so it's time when I can get back to the car on Saturday.
It did throw a code, P1682, which tells me it could be the ignition switch, the relays, or the grounds in the ignition circuit. I don't think it's one of the computers going bad because I'm not getting a bunch of other malfunctions that people report when the BCM/ECM goes bad.
I'm going to buy some new relays to try while I'm at it. Fuse 44, powertrain ignition, was brown on the sides. I noticed the fuses aren't all plugged in in the same direction in the fuse box. Can they be installed backwards or do they work any way they plug in?
Just to close out what I went through for any future readers, it was my starter after all. The main power lug was completely broken. Had a shop install a new starter that they heat wrapped to try to prevent this from happening so soon again. OP, I wish I had other news that could help you. Odd that there are no codes and power is getting everywhere fine.
