Z06 rattle
Hello all, before pulling the entire car apart. i have started to have a rattle just into the trunk area behind the seats. the chassis tunnel brace is tight, exhaust is LG headers and x pipe with stock NPP everything is tight with nothing rubbing or able to swing and bump. im curious how to diagnose clutch or torque tube issues, also possibility of engine or trans mounts. car has heads fixed and exhaust otherwise stock 2011 C6 Z06 with 21K miles. i don't do any dig racing but auto cross and mount driving. i am working on videos of the noise
Forgot to mention the noise is only at stopped or extremely low speed like rolling. its also not constant

If you checked it...check it again. I'm talking about the exhaust. I had a rattle in my car after we did the clutch...exhaust looked fine. But we re-adjusted it to give it more room just to be safe. Rattle was still there. We had to wait for the car to cool enough to adjust the final position when the exhaust was warm. That finally fixed it. If it sounds like the exhaust, it's the exhaust dude.

A possibility, I had a chunk of the cat converter come apart and land in the port side can causing it to rattle. You might want to climb under with car not running and thump the mufflers with the palm of your hand firmly and see if you hear something rattling in there.
