So I bought an ls3 intake from a holden -yes had it shipped here from Australia. Why you may ask , it's because even though it has a US part number intake the vertical standoffs inside are not there. So looking over the car as it's been acting funny and noticed the ls2 map sensor loose real loose - wiggled it a smug and the dam nipple broke off go figure.. So I decided I was going to replace with ls3 map since I did a ls2/l92 conversion on my 05. Well I got the adapter pigtail and the ls3 map and for whatever reason the damn ls3 map sensor did not fit - not even close and when I had the ls2 map it was to loose and required a tad of rtv to seal...So I am clueless as to whatever the difference in intakes but I had to drill it out fit the new map. It's weird I know but new ls3 map is in so it's been domesticated now lol.
