I switched to a set of Summit Racing wires a couple of years ago. They have a larger sparkplug boot which makes it easier to grab onto. Also, seem to be less prone to the wires falling off of the coils which the factory wires have a bad habit of doing.
Why replace OEM that is somewhat prone to coming loose with the same? I have never used them but I hear GM Performance wires are good. I used MSD Superconductor wires on an Avalanche for 12 years without any issues.
OEM wires and plugs, since you want the resistance in them that acts like a RF filter in the first place.
On lower resistance wires and plugs, can get RFI feed back to the coils firing, which gets back to the ECM to cause problems with it, like not controlling the alternator voltage correctly and ending up with low voltage charging system problems from the ECM not holding the ECM voltage at 14.7 volts.
I have also heard to stick with OEM wires at least, to prevent electrical issues. I have never experienced it since I’ve never run aftermarket wires, but I have seen more than a few people all recommend stock to prevent issues. I wouldn’t switch to aftermarket if you don’t actually need new wires in the first place.

How else does that specific problem manifest itself?
I'm curious cause I've never had an issue, that I noticed, with my firecores.
I did, preemptively, purchase some rfi grounding sleeve if I ever did encounter an issue. Haven't had to use em'
