Default 2005 c6 overheating?

I have a c6 corvette thats been overheating recently and have no idea why. So basics first ive replaced thermostat with a 187°F. Have a 16"electric fan told to turn on at 170 and at fast speed. And another 12"fan on the condensor side. Water pump is brand new, and i did a flush of the coolant system. I made a shroud for the 16"fan on the motor side. It had no bumper when i got it. Put a bumper on it and it started to overheat so i took bumper off and was still overheating. Replaced thermostat with bumper on and still nothing, the radiator was relocated up 4in to not be the lowest point of the car. Is that affecting it, the brackets are welded in. And have no clue how else to deal with the car. Its reaching temps of up to 245-250. If im going down the highway is still staying at 237. When i stop it starts to rise but if im in nuetral it will stay at whatever temp it was at when i threw it into nuetral.

For air it is a bottom feeder. Perhaps 4 " rise is not the thing to do.
Did you flush out between Radiator and condenser? Garden hose attached to 1/2 " pvc with holes drilled in it

It sounds like someone has done some modding...can you fill us in on the specifics of any mods, other than the missing bumper, and poorly located radiator? If it is otherwise completely stock, you should not need extra fans, or a different thermo. The temps you are reaching are bad enough that I would certainly not be driving it until that was under control.

We have some really knowledgeable folks on here who will be able to provide better input.

@ HK770

No, it's not.

It gets it air through the front grill. You know, that mouth-shaped thing on the front of the car.

The C5 was a bottom-feeder.

Thanks, HK.

While I do thank you for assigning me a different gender and username (), sometimes, it helps to just laugh a little. It's good for oneself.
