Both my power side view mirrors appeared to be powerless, they won't adjust from the button on the driver door. I searched in my 2009 C6 manual for a fuse, but I couldn't find one listed for the fuse block in the engine bay, or the one down in the passenger footwell area. Could the power mirrors share another electrical device fuse that I missed? I really hate the small print on the fuse panels and in the manual Any help on this is appreciated.
Here is the service manual section on the mirrors. Hope it helps you.
Thank you for the very detailed mirror replacement, repair, and diagnostic manual. It was 60 pages of rocket science to me which went way over and beyond my Corvette tinkering skill set. I was hoping for a mention buried in there regarding a fuse and it's location just for the side view mirrors. I tried to find it, but failed miserably again
I apologize, the fuse was not listed on the electrical schematics on the first few pages. It just hsds the line coming from the electrical connection. The fuse also is for the power windows, trunk release and fuel door release, so if those are working, it's not the fuse.
The fuse is in the passenger footwell PWR/WDWS/Trunk/FUEL RELSE 30amp
If it's not the fuse, look at the window switch connector on the driver door, then the DDM (driver door module) connector and wires.
