C6 brake replacement mileage?
Brake pad recommendations? I have the F55 option w slotted rotors on base model.

As for rotors on either , will be able to turn them once to clean them up on after their first set of pads, then will need to replace them on the second set of pads for the rotors since they will be too thin to turn again.
As for the C6 pads, should be pulling them once a year to check them out for wear amounts, and to re-silicone brake grease the backing parts of them/mating metal sections on the calipers, to prevent them from squealing. Every two years, should be doing a power flush on the brake fluid to get the old out, and the new fluid in.
So would guess by you asking the question in the first place, brake fluid is long over due for a power flush, and good time to pull the pads to check the wear amounts out, and clean re-grease them/the caliper as needed yearly as well.

the best way is to take the wheels off and inspect the pads...
i know, its a shitty answer, but really the only way to be certain....
there's lots of pad options and opinions to go with them...
if you're not tracking the car, you can pretty much get anything behind the counter at the auto parts stores....

Some have gotten far more milage out of the HD pads, but mostly highway cruising that is racking up mileage and not using the brake that much instead.
And again, we are talking the J55 HD pads, that are more aggressive that the base pads, and which will give greater initial bite, had better pedal feed back, and higher working temps.
If the pads where replaced with say a set of Base ceramic pads (since they will fit the J55 calipers), then may get 60K out of them (but will give up the greater initial bite, the greater pedal feed back, and will not have the higher working temps of the HD pads).
And again, it a vet, so pads should be pulled yearly to clean their and the calipers mating surface, then the pads checked for wear limits, and if to be reinstalled, then metal mating surfaces between the pads and the calipers re-lube with silicone brake grease. Hence the reason for this, it just the normal car washes of the car over a year with the caliper so exposed, that the brake grease can be washed away within that time period to cause brake squeal problems of the dry metal to dry metal parts.
