Not a bad price for a dyno tune?,
Going with a tune without mods is a good way to measure hp gains in future mods.
I would not delete torque management, my tuner said this is a quick way to a new transmission. My tuner did tune the A6 so that shifting with paddle shifters is a whole new experience and you will love that part of it.
Good luck.
Wonder how he knows what the speed, limiter is set to? I didn’t know anyone could set that and why would you. I know I don’t have any speed limiter set unless it’s above 170 somewhere.
A tune on a completely stock engine may make you feel good, but won't do much for performance. Save your money.....much better plan is to do your initial mods (headers, exhaust, intake, etc) & then do a tune. Whatever you decide, be sure to select a really competent shop. Check with local Corvette clubs for recommendations.
Tune on my STOCK auto 2011 woke that dude up big time..... Just getting the torq management off of the trans made a night and day difference. Power wise, not so much..... But you will def know you spent money on a tune when you hammer it.
The fact that he said your limiter is probably set at 135mph is an immediate sign to run. Deleting torque management drives running home. I would definitely recommend a tune, but I would look elsewhere. There really are no downsides to a tune, unless someone inexperienced does it.
Whatever Alan at Futral Racing installed..... It is the best. I have brought all my LS motors to him one time or another and never had a bad situation. Drivability is the same until you hammer it.... Night and day difference. Maybe my lingo was incorrect, but I have all the faith in Alan.

His description of Torque management is wrong. What it does is dial back the engine power for a split second so the trans can shift.
TM might cost you 0.1s in the quarter mile but it's better than buying transmissions.
No it's not, TM in the transmission is there to make it shift smoother and that's all. When my current race car still had an LS2 and was street legal I put literally thousands of miles and hundreds of high 10 second passes with it and never had any problems.
