Replaced TPMS sensors on 2010 but the new ones are lighting up. Have reset them a couple of times problem still occurs.
Looking for any suggestions.
Thanks
Brand: Mobiletron (amazon) TX-S024
All four replaced—the two rear ones working; the two front ones fail after about 20 minutes of driving
Looking at Amazon reviews they all say the same thing you are complaining.
Here is first complaint like yours: September 13, 2021 Every couple of days one of the tires randomly loses its signal. It always comes back around ten minutes. I made the mistake of thinking higher cost was better but a cheaper brand I had purchased lasted through two tire replacements.
I have replaced sensors with a set from one of the websites recommended. Now, after driving about 20-25 minutes, the two front sensors are failing. I have reset them several times, same results. I would welcome any suggestions for what I could do to get the system working. Thanks
I think it is time for you to get a set of original GM ACDelco TPMS sensors for your C6 and stop spending money on Chinese sensors that may or may not work all the time.
You need ACDelco # 20925924 for your year model 2010. . . . BTW, these are made in the UK
I ave now replaced with OEM sensors and two of them are failing intermittently. I got a TPMS reading tool and it says these sensors are transmitting. I wonder if the problem might be the sensor monitor in the car and not the sensors. Have been looking online and it looks like the monitor (which is also the remote keyless entry module) is in the dash behind the radio. Is there any experience with this, suggestions, pearls? Thanks again.
I have not had the issue, but have read of some people blaming certain types of metal valve stem caps for sensor issues. Not sure of the validity of this.
