Default Seat Memory Module diagram

Does a diagram of the circuit board of the seat memory module exist?

The column and mirror memory features work on the 2007 base I just bought but the seat doesn't. Last weekend I pulled the seat out and inspected the wiring, tightened the connections, used some dielectric grease but it did not help. While I had the seat out I also pulled the module out and split it open. It looks essentially the same as the C5 door lock module that I repaired earlier this year but swapping in new relays. I bought some more relays with the intention of swapping them in this seat module to see if it fixes it since the relays are so cheap. Before I do that I would like to know if there is a diagram showing which relays controls which functions so I don't waste time swapping the column/mirror relays.

If anyone is curious, I've gone through all the common diagnostics I have found here. Besides pulling the seat and checking the wiring, I tried uplugging the battery for a bit to see if it would reset anything. I tried re-indexing the seat. I can save a new seat position and get the beep confirming it saved but after moving the seat with the controls, if I hit 1 or 2 to recall the seat it doesn't move. The column and mirrors do. The seat moves perfectly when I use the control to make it go forward but will stop intermittently when moving it backwards.

Since you have checked all the wiring at the seat switch, and to the motor, that is where I would of looked as well, especially since the wires tend to break at the connectors.
It seems odd that the seat will stop intermittently going backwards, unless the wiring is being stretched and fretting at the connector.
I've added the power seat section of the 2007 manual, which has the schematics. Hopefully it will help you troubleshoot the issue.

Thanks, I'll see if that will get me what I need.

I have added the color coded schematics of the circuit as well if you prefer that.
The memory seat schematics are on page 87 and 88.
Good Luck

Thanks.

How do the position sensors work on these seats? I couldn't find anything visually that looked like a position sensor. It looks like according to that diagram all three position sensors are part of the motor assembly?

I did find what appeared to be a magnetic switch on the righthand side underneath. It seemed as though that might just be used to kill power to the motor when it was at max forward/rearward positions when it goes beyond the ends of the steel bar that it is mounted close to. I don't believe this is a position sensor though.

page 92 of the power seat section attached above explains the functions of the motors, the memory seat module (MSM) provides each motor with a soft stop either way. A physical travel limit switch will allow a further movement from the soft dtop if needed by the owner. The position sensors are part of the motor and are a potentiometer that puts out a voltssge to determine the position of the seat, as per the MSM. The section following explains the seat operations.

Normally, any issues are due to wiring issues, switch control module, or something under the seat, or a wiring harness snaging, thus preventing the seat from moving freely.

Good Luck and report back if you ever find what caused the issue.
