I live in Ulster County NY around the Kerhonkson/Accord area. I have a 2010
Grand Sport. Today the check engine light came on blinking and the service traction handling light and message. Does anyone know someone in my area that works on corvettes ? Thank you
A blinking CEL is a misfire that can damage your catalytic converters !!…so don’t let this go on for too long…it doesn’t have to be a Corvette specific shop to diagnose this…call TST Training located in Mahopac and see who they can refer you to…they may be able to look at it for you !!…they have a great automotive training channel on YouTube and I have attended many of their seminars over the years before moving to Florida from NJ.…their number is: (845) 628-6928
Something to check that is quick & easy. Pull the plastic fuel rail covers and check to ensure that all spark plug wires are pushed in and secure. Check both the coil & the spark plug ends, even if they are not disconnected, they could be loose. A disconnected wire can display the same problems & warnings that you are encountering. I know, It happened to me.
Hope this helps and that you find the solution to the problem.

First stop can be any big box automotive store like Pep Boys, Advance Auto, O'Reilly's, etc. Any one of them will read the error code to give you a start on what needs to be done. You could also try Jim Glass Corvette Specialist in Kingston.
