problem with eagle eye tail lights on c6

problem with eagle eye tail lights on c6
i've had the eagle eye halo tail light in a c6. Now lately my right side started to hyperflash. i changed the resistors out on all four lights with eagle eye 7ohm resistors. (matching their original spec)..
Hyperflash still there but now we noticed two of the lights have a different intensity of the other two. We cleaned the sockets, switched the locations around and got the same light delta.. Everything works except we have two levels of brightness and hyperflash. yuk. Nothing left to try .
Has anyone else had this problem. Sounds like i'm buying some new taillights soon
