2008 Z51. Door handle electronic pad cleaned and polished, battery replaced in FOB. Door opened, car started for over a month until last night. Last night door didnt want to open, then it did. Tried to start and FOB Not Detected, waited a few minutes and it started. What else could it be other than the FOB

You do not mention the age or condition of your car's battery. A failing battery is usually the cause for many of the C6 electrical related problems. If your battery is not healthy, replace it. If it is healthy, you should disconnect it, Check the condition of both the wire connectors and the battery terminals to ensure they are clean. Reconnect the battery & ensure that the wire connectors are secure, tight and not loose. Reinitialze both of your windows and hopefully a good reboot of your electronic modules will solve your problem.

Next time you have problem stick it in the glove box, and see if the car starts. If it does could be old batteries you bought for your FOB.
I replaced my FOB batteries in March 21, and last month having problems, so bought in Walmart cause they have quick turnover and there batteries should be fresh.
Since I replaced the battery, not problem.
