Checking compression

Is there any way to hook up a starter button through the crank rely to turn the engine over for compression test? This is for GUD TWN needs help (2005 Z51 corvette).

I wonder if you could use the trick where you hold the gas pedal to the floor and hit the starter button. Supposed to turn over but not start.

Yes, a "Clear Flood Crank" requires nothing but putting the gas pedal to the floor and HOLDING it there while attempting to start the car...no need to mess with relays !!

Actually looking for a remote starter button to plug into the crank relay, but thanks guys for your suggestion. I had an article but forgot where I put it.

you can pull the cap off of the starter relay and mechanically engage it.
