Seatbelt help
Not sure anyone can help me with this, but we will try.. I have C6 seatbelts in my C5Z, because I swapped the stock seats out for Braums. I knew going in that i needed to replace the C5 belts with the C6 ones. I followed the procedure after reading up on it in the C5 section and went smooth... but the belt on the driver side will not release anymore.. worked fine for about a year, and this summer would not roll out. took it off the wall, fiddled with until it released, put it back in, and stopped again. so i unspooled it and let it retract to where i needed it to be sitting in the car. and clamped it where it retracts back in. not very handy with added coat sometimes. so to the point, to make them work, they swap from side to side, left on right and right on left, so my question is, how in the heck can i get it to release to roll out, some say add more webbing, well don t think that will do anything, cept cost money, any thoughts would be appreciated. .
