Exhaust System Advice Please
My car is a 2010 Grand Sport Convertible with LS3 engine, A6 automatic transmission and 2.73 axle ratio. Presently the car is stock including the NPP exhaust option.
My goal is primarily to increase both torque and horsepower (vs all out high rpm horsepower). I want to keep it naturally aspirated and stay with the existing cam and NPP. Bolt ons purchased so far are: 1/ Vitesse throttle controller 2/ Vararam cold air intake 3/ Rod Mod LS3 intake manifold 4/ existing stock NPP muffler/exhaust system.
I am looking for primary exhaust system recommendations. A/ existing stock LS3 exhaust manifolds with single pair of cats and 2 1/2” X-pipe. B/ Jet Hot coated Hooker shorty headers with stock pair of cats and stock 2 1/2” X-pipe. C/ Z06 exhaust manifolds with Z06 cats and Z06 3” H-pipe. D/ OBX 1 7/8” S.S. headers with OBX S.S. high flow cats and OBX S.S. 2 1/2” X-pipe.
