E85 fuel stabilizer
Just recently I installed E85 on my 07 Z06 with a flex fuel sensor..
Plan on keeping E85 in storage ...What is a good stabilizer to prevent moisture build up ?
I plan on keeping it stored indoors so that should help somewhat..
I have stabile 360 but is that good for E85 fuel ?.....
Also if I use a good stabilizer can I store the E 85 fuel in plastic gas cans or do you recommend storing in metal gas cans ? E85 fuel won’t be stored long maybe a few weeks indoors....
As for fuel in sealed metal container for a few weeks, will not need to use stabilizer with it.
Stabilizer is for fuels that will sit for months at time that can start to separate, and/or that can pull the moisture out of the air to add water to the fuel as well (think l boats, or cars that are not going to be run for months at a time).
Note, there is diesel bug that cause grows in Diesel fuel, but that a whole different subject.
To add, if you are running Pump E85, good luck on that even being E-85 to start with.
