Steering angle sensor
Set up the software on a win 10 laptop that comes with it (VX managr, and tech2win), so you can run the Tech2win that comes with it for free.
If 2005, then use that year, but 2006 to 2013, use 2013 as the car year for this, and to get to BCM functions well). For other functions, you can just use the true car year instead.
Your looking for steering, variable steering, special functions, ebcm, then steering wheel position, so the car learns the new steering position sensor position.
As to note, when you do install the steering column Knuckle with the steering wheel straight, and the wheels straight, make sure you are close to 0 voltage on the steering wheel position sensor. If volts if well above this, then you have the wheel clocked one rotation off.
If the voltage is negative, then wheel is clocked counter clock wise one turn, while if positive voltage, then clocked clockwise one tune.
Also read the steering wheel voltage as you are turning the wheel, since if you over clock the wheel two turns, it going to destroy the steering wheel sensor.
To get to steering wheel position voltage, you can pull that from the EBCM data from steering (instead of using the special functions to take you down the path for resetting once the steering position sensor/wheel indexed correct to start with).
