My 2011 this past week is acting strange sometimes. When I come down to a stop, or just slow down near stopping, it sometimes bangs and sets me back when I press on the gas, not hard. Don't do it all the time, just occasionally. Since I understand Joe average can't really check trans fluid, anyone experienced this b4?
I have an auto with 112000 miles and never experienced anything like that. I'm wondering out loud if it isn't loose rear axle nuts. Easy to check.
what is the mikeage?

Yeah, and believe it or not it's by design.
There's a setting in the tune that will set the line pressure to maximum if it detects some sort of internal problem in the transmission. I can't quite remember if there should be a corresponding DTC set to accompany this but it wouldn't hurt to get an OBDII code reader to see if anything comes up.
Hardly broken in . I had minor thunks and noise from the rear, checked the torque of the axle nuts, which was OK, but because of the mileage, I changed out the axle nuts and the rear diff fluid at or around 100k miles, and all noises dissapeared. I'm not suggesting any of this is your issue, but may be worth a look at if nothing else can be deduced. I never had a very aggressive jerk or anything that you describe. Mine would give a slight thunk when first starting out, or backing up.
Good Luck.
Engine revs a bit b4 it bangs into gear, not all the time, just occasionally. Right now it is 18 deg. and snow on ground so I am not going to get under it to check it out. I had just got it out of shop for radiator replace 2 weeks ago and this starts to happen. Never had it b4. I don't want to say they didn't anything to it for more work, but like the detectives say " I don't like coincidences". They have been good to me b4 this on other work. Just saying.
