Default Autoblip issue

Hey guys,

I installed an autoblip on my 06 Z yesterday and the lights read out correctly. The status light is solid, the brake light comes on when pressing the brakes and the clutch light comes on when pressing the clutch. When I hit the brake and then the clutch while driving, the blip light comes on but the engine doesn’t rev. Any suggestions?

Check the accelerator pedal position (APP) sensor connections. The control unit could be sending the signal, thus the light, but the car is not receiving the signal.

On a side note if you get this working and you throw an APP code the problem is likely to be a poor connection.

The U-connectors are not that reliable. I eventually made solder connections and it has worked perfectly since.

I like this device. I am not good at heel/toe shifting. On the track this device saves a lot of clutch wear.

Two other tips:

It is easy to contact the designer. He is a good guy and is helpful.

Remove the drivers seat. It makes it easier for the install.

Thank you for responding! I actually called autoblip directly and the person recommended I recalibrate an additional time. It worked after that. He said the units are very touchy while calibrating. Hopefully this helps for others as well.
