So I had the dealership replace the starter, alternator, and battery. Everything was fine until a week ago. The voltage drops from 14 to 12 when at high rpm’s but I up gears it returns to 14. What’s the likely problem and solution. I’ve had it test and scan and there’s no codes. Second issue is that the oil psi floats up and down depending on when I give it gas is this normal or as simple as a sensor replacement
Oil pressure rise with RPM's is normal,
And regarding voltage drop, would say that the brushes have not mated to the accumulator yet on rebuilt unit, and getting kicked off. back into the baskets at high rpms.
That is if you are still running OEM spark plugs and spark plug wires, and not a RF feed back problem through the coils with aftermarket plugs and wires to the ECM, since the ECM controls the alternator voltage output, and RF noise to the ECM, can cause it to lower the alternator output voltage.
