cracked bell housing
Has anyone ever experienced having a cracked bell housing and how much did it cost to get replaced?

The labor is the equivalent of replacing the clutch. Probably 10 to 12 hours by the book

Is it actually cracked or are we talking about casting marks.

chevrolet performance dealership is telling me it is cracked. i haven’t seen it myself though

Like a Dr., get a second opinion. On a labor intensive (read: EXPENSIVE!) job like replacing a bellhousing, I know I'd want to know for sure.....
