I just bought a 2005 with 120,000 miles. It has a rotational noise coming from the rear. The car does have BC Racing coil overs, Corsa cat back exhaust and Z06 wheels. Not sure if any of that matters. Maybe a wheel bearing? Maybe it’s normal? any ideas?
apologies for the shaky video, was just trying move around for the audio.--
That noise is not normal. My first impression is a wheel bearing is going bad.. I would jack up the rear of the car and see if you can move the wheel side to side or in and out. If you get a lot of play you found the issue.

1. Jack the rear of the car up.
2. place jack stands under the car carefully and safely.
3. take the wheels off.
4. put the car in gear.
5. get an Automotive stethoscope and listen to each wheel. Place the tip in a safe area for listening.
6. You will find which wheel hub is making the noise.
Ok, so the wheels still are making the thumping sound that is rotational. It seems to be the passenger rear, which now has a slight squeal almost like a brake wear indicator.
however I replaced the rotors and pads about 2 months ago with no squealing noise u til a day or two ago.
I am going to pull off that wheel and what is going on.
last time I did when I changed the brakes, in neutral, neither rear wheel would rotate. It does have a stage 1 racing clutch, perhaps that is why? I may have my son carefully step on the clutch with the wheel up and see if it rotates.
any ideas? Wheel bearing or tires out of balance it seems
