Just finished my TFS 225 head swap. With the angle change of plugs and my Kooks headers I don’t have enough clearance for #3 cylinder OEM plug wire. It keeps burning on header no matter which way I orientate. Anyone have any recommendations or is there plug wires with a thinner boot that will work?
I have run those covers on several of my cars with them laying directly on the headers with no issues. If length is an issue there are also longer wire options.
Forgot to mention above I had switched to Summit 45° wires a few years ago. Didn’t end up using boot shields. What finally worked was putting back on my OEM wires with 90° bend in them and over twisting wire at coil end. Again this is only happening on cylinder #3.
Summit wires I was using wouldn’t work with Trick Flow heads and headers.
